Thunder Community Programme

The Thunder Community Programme has now been in existence for over two years, focusing mainly on the development of rugby league and associated formats across the North East.

Our aim is to develop and help co-ordinate rugby league grassroots development in the area across a variety of strands.

Sky Try

The Sky Try programme aims to make a difference by increasing the amount of viewers, spectators and participants to Rugby League. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow the sport.

Newcastle Thunder partake in all three pillars of the activity including: Sky Try Primary Rugby league, local schools competitions and player development, making the big games bigger.
