Fans enjoy pre-season get together with Falcons Players
Around 150 Newcastle Falcons Season Ticket Holders descended on Kingston Park on Tuesday evening for the annual pre-season meet the players event. The free barbeque is one of a number of benefits exclusive to Season Ticket Holders and the evening attracted the highest number of attendees in recent years
All eleven of the Falcons’ new signings were on hand to chat to supporters with lots of photographs taken and autographs signed for fans young and old.
Dean Richards, Will Welch, Bobby Vickers, Ally Hogg and new signing Alex Tuilagi were then interviewed on stage taking questions from the floor before everyone headed outside onto the new 3G artificial pitch where fans joined players and coaching staff alike in a big team photo.
Once back inside the West Stand the crowd enjoyed free barbeque food, a final few conversations with the players and learned the result of a raffle which raised over £200 for the Newcastle Falcons Supporters Club before the night ended.
Falcons Director of Rugby Dean Richards commented: “It was a really enjoyable evening and encouraging to see so many of our fans turn out to meet the players and wish them good luck for the season ahead.
“The team photo was great fun and hopefully those that attended had a good time and went away even more enthused about the 2014-15 season. We know that there will be a noisy group of fans at Welford Rd on Saturday and as ever their support is really appreciated by all at the club.”

Tuesday’s BBQ was one of a number of exclusive benefits available to Newcastle Falcons Season Ticket Holders. Season Tickets for 2014-15 are still available from only £200 for adults with Under 11 tickets free when purchased alongside a fully paying adult season ticket.
