Falcons fans have the chance to donate to St Oswald's Hospice throughout 2010-11, with the news that collection tins will be on the stadium bars throughout the 2010-11 campaign.

St Oswald's are the Falcons' official chosen charity for the season, with a number of joint ventures in the pipeline to raise funds for the cause.

Situated in Gosforth, St Oswald's provides hospice care for adults, young people and children with life-limiting conditions.

St Oswald's follows a holistic approach that aims to address not just physical symptoms, but also spiritual and emotional needs too.

Families from across the region - Northumberland and Tyne & Wear - can benefit from a wide range of services. St Oswald's annual running costs are now £8 million, of which over £6 million must be raised through voluntary giving.

They make no charge for any of their services, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone.
