Newcastle Falcons hooker Rob Vickers has been called into the England Saxons squad for Friday's match against Italy A in Treviso.

The Yorkshireman could make his debut from the bench, having been named among the replacements by head coach Stuart Lancaster.

Fellow Falcon Micky Young starts the game, having come on from the bench last Sunday as the Saxons defeated Ireland A in Bath.
