Magners League champions Ospreys have named their side for Saturday's LV= Cup trip to Newcastle Falcons (kick-off 6.30pm).
The Welsh giants include ex-international front rowers Duncan Jones and Mefin Davies in their side for the Kingston Park clash, with Davies handed captaincy duties.Back rower Tom Smith makes his 50th appearance for the Ospreys, saying: "It’s nice to reach any milestone, to play 50 games for the region is something I can be proud of, particularly with it being my region and where I come from. To hit 50 is a special achievement for me I definitely think that.
“Like any English side I think they’ll be physical, particularly at the breakdown. We know that we are going to have put a few things right from the Dragons match, the whole squad has to front up and come of age a little bit, but I genuinely believe that we can go up to Newcastle and do a job.”
Tickets for the game are still available by calling 0871 226 60 60 or from the stadium on the day. Prior to the 6.30pm kick-off there will be international rugby on the big screen in The Hiding Place bar as England take on the All Blacks at 2.30pm and Ireland host South Africa at 5.30pm.
