Falcons Community Foundation, Newcastle School Sport Partnership, Wooden Spoon AND DFDS Seaways have joined forces to create an exciting new post- A COMMUNITY DANCE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER.
Initially, part-time, for a 3 month Pilot Project working with Heaton Manor School and 5 cluster Primary schools, the post holder will deliver 7 dance sessions per school, culminating in a mass participation performance event on the Falcons' rugby pitch at Kingston Park, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne on Sunday 15th March, 2009 / Friday 27th March 2009.We would welcome applications from freelance dance teachers who are qualified to Degree Level in Dance or Performing Arts with related teaching and choreographic experience. A current driving licence is essential as well as being CRB cleared.

Fee: £3,000
Closing date: 5pm, Thursday 27th November, 2008
Interviews will consist of 30 minutes teaching and a formal interview during the week commencing 1st December, 2008.
