Falcons fans will have another chance to catch a glimpse of new signing Tane Tu'ipulotu on Saturday morning, as Wellington Lions defend their Ranfurly Shield against Tasman.

The Tongan centre has helped Wellington to a remarkable eight bonus point wins from their eight games so far in this season's Air New Zealand Cup, as well as winning the Ranfurly Shield last week for the first time in 27 years.

An estimated 35,000 Wellingtonians lined the streets of the Kiwi capital this week for a street parade to celebrate the Shield's long-awaited return, with Tasman next in line to challenge for the coveted Log of Wood.

Tu'ipulotu starts at inside centre for Saturday's Shield defence, with the game live on Sky Sports at 6.35am UK time.
