This weekend's trip to Wales has been postponed due to heavy snowfall

Cross Keys V Falcons Postponed

Friday 18 January 13

Newcastle Falcons’ Round 6 Pool 4 British and Irish Cup clash at Cross Keys has been postponed due to heavy snow fall in Wales.

The game has been rearranged for Friday 1 February with a kick-off time still to be confirmed.

Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards said: “We are naturally disappointed that the game has been postponed, and it’s not ideal to play the game on the same day as the England Saxons game.

“The Saxons v Scotland A fixture will be a momentous occasion for the region and I encourage the North East and Cumbria public to turn up in their droves to watch what promises to be an entertaining spectacle at Kingston Park.”

Newcastle continue their quest for promotion back to the Aviva Premiership at home to Cornish Pirates next Friday (kick-off 8pm).

Tickets are available by calling the Falcons Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060 or click here to purchase online.
