Driving Grassroots Rugby At The Newcastle Falcons Premiership Rugby Club

Thursday 22 November 12

The Newcastle Falcons Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, an under 11 and under 12 grassroots tournament, will be taking place on 16th December at Kingston Park.

This grassroots rugby festival is part of a series of nationwide tournaments which provide aspiring young players with the opportunity to showcase their skills, determination and composure whilst playing for the title of Regional Champions, in a fantastically run festival with their local Premiership Rugby club.

The tournaments also aim to provide inspiration to the young rugby players, by providing participating players at the festival with the chance to meet some of the Newcastle Falcons players who will be supporting the teams and offering coaching tips in between games.

The two winning sides will be rewarded with a very special place on the Land Rover Parade of Champions, which will see the youngsters parading in front of a sell-out Twickenham crowd at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final in May.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, now in its fifth year, has seen over 30,000 children take part from all over the country. So, get involved and support the young stars of your local clubs, who are all battling it out to realise their ambitions of regional recognition and also for an incredible prize.

The under 11's tournament is unfortunately already at capacity however for more information on under 12's and the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup please contact Melanie Magee: melanie.magee@newcastle-falcons.co.uk
