EAST STAND A SELL-OUT FOR SARRIES SHOWDOWN

Newcastle Falcons are delighted to announce that the East Stand Clubhouse stand has sold out ahead of the crucial Aviva Premiership showdown with champions Saracens on Friday 20 April (kick-off 7.45pm).

Falcons fans have been snapping tickets up for the last home game of 2011/2012 in their hundreds since the club announced tickets would be reduced to £10 adults and £5 under 16’s for this fixture, with the West Stand now filling up rapidly.

“The response to our appeal to fill the ground for the visit of Saracens so far has been excellent,"aid Falcons drector Duncan Edward.

He added: "The stand sold out within four hours of the reduced prices being announced and the West Stand has already filled its Category A and B1 blocks with B2 and C also approaching 50% full, so the message is to get in quick to secure the best seats or standing positions.

“Recent matches at Kingston Park against Saracens have been close run things in recent seasons with the two teams being separated by a converted try or less since 2006/2007 and it would be a fantastic conclusion to the season if we can fill Kingston Park and record our fifth home win in six seasons over Saracens ”

Saracens will arrive in the North East looking to secure a home Aviva Premiership Rugby semi final as they look to defend the title they won by defeating Leicester Tigers 22 -18 in last season’s Grand Final at Twickenham. Boasting a wealth of talent including England Internationals Brad Barritt, Owen Farrell, Charlie Hodgson, Mouritz Botha & David Strettle, the game promises to be an entertaining spectacle.

The Falcons meanwhile will be looking to extend their unbeaten home record under director of rugby Gary Gold to six matches and record a fifth win in six seasons against the men in black.

Tickets to be part of the Kingston Park factor can be purchased 24hrs a day by clicking here or by calling 0871 226 6060 and can also be purchased in person from the Kingston Park box office during normal office hours.
