GUEST PRESENTER AT FALCONS TOUCH FINALS NIGHT ANNOUNCED

We are delighted to announce that the Falcons incoming director of rugby Dean Richards will be in attendance at Kingston Park tomorrow night to present trophies to the winners of the Falcons Community Foundation Touch Rugby Competition.

23 teams have competed for the past seven weeks at Kingston Park. Totalling over 250 fixtures, the competition culminates tomorrow night as teams are split into Cup, Plate, Shield, Bowl and Vase tournaments.

Following the end of the matches, teams will move indoors to the Platinum Suite to enjoy a complimentary buffet as they celebrate their achievements with colleagues and teammates.

Teams from a wide variety of organisations have taken part in the competition which is now in its tenth season. Competing teams are; Accenture Tigers, Batmen, Billy’s No Mates, Blackadders, Dirty Ruckers, Feelgood, Jan Man, Look Don’t Touch, Matrics Barbarians, Matson RFC, Newcastle Estate Maverick, North, Onyx Barbarians, Red Marine Pigeons, Ringers RFC, Ryecroft Glenton, Sage Touch, Supporters Club, Team Awesome, Team Capacity, Touch and Go, Touch the Left One, Tynedale Ipanema and Ward Hadaway.

The Falcons Community Foundation also run a Corporate Touch Event where Falcons players take the role of coach for the evening on the first team pitch at Kingston Park and also a Beach Touch Rugby Competition at Tynemouth Longsands on Sunday 8 July (limited spaces available).
