After a very hard fought victory over Sale Sharks, Newcastle Falcons stars Grant Shiells, Richard Boyle and Joel Hodgeson made their way down to Guisborough RUFC to provide training sessions with 100 of the fast growing ranks of the Guisborough Youth teams.
Joel passed on his expertise in handling and back play to the age groups and Grant and Richard showed different techniques in the rucking area showing that it's not only about brute force.
"It was a fantastic day thanks to you guys!" said Guisborough coach Ben " A lot of very happy kids and parents. Joel, Grant and Rich did Falcons proud!"
The Newcastle Falcons return to Guisborough in the summer to hold one of the popular summer camps - we hope it will be attended by some very promising stars of the future!
