Helleur Talks To Falcons Tv

Friday 8 March 13

Jamie Helleur has urged fans to get right behind Newcastle Falcons and back the club’s promotion push as the business end of the season looms large.

Despite already securing a play-off spot, the Samoan centre told Falcons TV: “Having already made the play-offs, we still want to go the season unbeaten and we want to put on a show for our fans tonight.

We now need the fans to turn up in their droves and spur us on to promotion back to the Premiership.”

Helleur was in solid form for the northeasterners during last week’s 34-22 victory at Rotherham Titans, a game that marked the first try conceded by the Falcons since New Year’s Day.

Helleur said: “It was an interesting stat and something that our defence coach Graham Steadman was very proud of. To not concede a try for two months was pretty cool.

“Unfortunately the record has gone now and we have to start again.”

Try Gloucester. Patience in the build up and the when the ball is shipped wide, the hosts have created enough space to score. Gutting
