Richard Boyle
Boyle was signed by the Newcastle Falcons in anticipation of pre-season 2011-12. The 22-year-old second rower joined after graduating from his master's degree at Northumbria University.
He was previously on head coach Alan Tait's radar, after climbing the ranks for his hometown club Harrogate RFC and moving over to study at Durham University.
The Yorkshireman combined his master's course with training with the Falcons Academy before moving to National League 1 to prove his worth. Boyle made his debut for the Falcons Development Team at the end of the 2010-11 season, just before signing professional forms with the club.
