Andy joined the club in the summer of 2009, after two years with the Scotland national team and Glasgow Warriors.

Highlights during that time included Scotland beating England to claim the Calcutta Cup, and winning a Test away in Argentina, as well as Glasgow recording a famous Heineken Cup victory away at Toulouse.
