The vastly-experienced prop forward brings more than a decade of Premiership experience to the role, having previously coached with Newcastle University and Wallsend RFC having obtained his RFU Level 3 qualification.

Micky's services to the Falcons were rewarded by a testimonial following the 2010-11 season, with the fans favourite joining the backroom staff as scrummage coach in the summer of 2011.
