Paul Moriarty
Assistant CoachThe Welshman spent six seasons on the coaching staff with Llanelli Scarlets in the Magners League and Heineken Cup, having joined them from Swansea back in 2003.
A dual-code international as a lock and loose forward, Moriarty earned 21 rugby union caps for Wales between 1986-88, including a 22-21 victory over Australia to win the third place play-off at the 1987 Rugby World Cup.
Switching to rugby league he enjoyed a similarly successful spell in the 13-man code, playing twice for Great Britain as well as winning 12 Welsh caps, the last of which came in 1996.
Starring alongside Alan Tait in the hugely successful Widnes side which became national and then world club champions back in 1989 by beating Canberra Raiders, Moriarty represented his country in two Rugby League World Cups.
Returning to rugby union where he lifted the Welsh-Scottish League title with Swansea before joining their coaching staff, Moriarty then set about his six-year coaching term with Llanelli Scarlets.
In the summer of 2010, Paul joined up with his former team mate as assistant coach at Kingston Park.
