A feast of entertainment set for Caldy fixture

There’s plenty of action on and off the pitch for our final Premiership Rugby Cup pool stage fixture against Caldy.

Newcastle Falcons host the Championship outfit for the first time in the club’s history on Sunday, October 8.

The fixture kicks off at 2.15pm but there’s plenty of pre and post-match entertainment for all to enjoy.

The fun begins at 10am with our special ‘Caldy Carnival’.

The funfair full of festival rides, including a frog ride, bungee trampolines, children’s rides, the Crooked Cottage, a bouncy castle, an inflatable slide and a penalty shootout, will be set up on our West Stand pitches, with entry FREE for everyone.

Our eagerly anticipated new fanzone, which is situated in the North West corner of the stadium, will also be open from 10am, with plenty of food and drink available for all supporters to enjoy.

Ahead of kick-off there will also be a Club Connections talk held in our West stand at 12.00pm led by chair of rugby Matt Thompson.

Each club will have been contacted regarding the event, but if you’re part of our Club Connections and haven’t received the details please contact gavin.beasley@newcastle-falcons.co.uk for more information.

The club will be streaming Argentina’s Rugby World Cup group stage fixture against Japan on screens throughout the West Stand concourse in the build up to our Falcons fixture.

The Caldy fixture is also a celebration of all things Newcastle Rugby Foundation, and we will be supporting them throughout the match day with plenty of opportunities to donate.

There will be a very special announcement that we’re sure you will be very POSITIVE+ about and an exciting new merchandise range which will be available to purchase on the day.

There will be plenty of community activities with face painting, a parade and much more planned, so be sure to secure your place for what will be a fantastic celebration for the Foundation.

Alongside our usual half-time entertainment in the Falcons Flyer, we will also be introducing our brand new ‘merchandise cannon’ where supporters have the chance to bag themselves some free stash.

Tickets are available to purchase by clicking HERE, with prices from just £15 for adults and £7 for U18s, which applies to each area of the stadium.
