Neil, the ‘bookies’ favourite to win the popular TV show, will be appearing at North East Expo which is set to take place at Newcastle Falcon’s Rugby Club on November 13 2013.

His lively speaking session is entitled “Apprenticed to the Future”, during which he will talk about his motivation and what he learned about business and people while on the Apprentice.
Clough, who impressed Lord Sugar with his performance throughout the series, failed to make the final of the programme after a tough grilling over his idea for a new property website.
Lord Sugar dubbed him as the “right man with the wrong plan” but said if he’d been looking for a job candidate he’d give him a job tomorrow.

Marc Gordon of Exposure Events, which organises the successful Expos, said: “We were delighted to sign up Neil who we are confident will inspire and motivate visitors to North East Expo.

“Neil is described as focused, determined and driven by those that know him well, though his weaknesses were described as being overly competitive and very opinionated. I think it’s fairly safe to say that the session will be one of our most popular and lively ever.”

As well as appearing at North East Expo, Neil has signed up with Exposure Events to speak at Expo Scotland on October 2 at Hampden Park in Glasgow and at Expo Cumbria on November 13, at the Rheged centre at Penrith.

North East Expo takes place twice a year and once again is expected to attract more than 2,000 businesses on the day who can expect to mingle with visitors from across the region, all looking to generate new business and promote their services.

The North East Expo event is free to attend but registration is recommended via the website www.northeastexpo.co.uk.

The event is one of several business networking events across the UK ran by Durham-based Exposure Events.
