Archer set for 100 Club induction
The former England lock enjoyed two spells with the Falcons, firstly helping them to the 1997-8 Premiership title, and returning to form part of the squad which won the 2004 Powergen Cup.
Now 41, the Durham-born forward was capped 21 times by England between 1996 and 2000, and was back at Kingston Park Stadium earlier this year to play in Paul Van-Zandvliet’s benefit match.
