AWARD NIGHT DOUBLE FOR FALCONS HOSPITALITY TEAM
Headed by director of conferences and events Jane Shepstone, the Kingston Park hospitality team claimed the awards for the overall best match-day hospitality experience and the same award in the stadium of up to 30,000 seats category, as a result of the quality they offer to the hundreds of people attending Newcastle Falcons matches as hospitality guests. .
In the first year of entries into the awards by rugby stadiums, the Falcons’ wins saw the club fight off tough competition from Wigan Warriors, Cardiff City FC and near neighbours Newcastle United to win the coveted accolades.
Jane Shepstone said: “I’m absolutely thrilled that our Hospitality programme has taken these awards. It’s our first year of entering, so to win not only our category, but the overall award as well, against some pretty impressive competition is amazing.”

Founded in 2002, Stadium Experience, who organise the awards, represents 45 major football and rugby stadiums, which joined forces to work together and promote Stadia as venues for hosting conferences and events.
