Foundation Flutter lottery tickets are on sale for just £1 before Newcastle Falcons’ 5.30pm kick-off against Sale Sharks, with some brilliant prizes up for grabs.

Drawn on the pitch at half-time, the lucky winner of the first prize will win a special edition man of the match shirt from the game, with the second prize being corporate hospitality to another Newcastle Falcons home game.

Not only are Barclays helping to raise funds for the foundation, but they have also provided a group of volunteers to help out on the day.

Andrew Smith from Barclays Premier Banking said: “Barclays has a strong and longstanding commitment to managing the environmental and social impacts of our business, recognising that our success is closely linked to that of the communities in which we live and work.

“By focusing on our core products and services, and our relationships, we can make the greatest positive impact. We continue to identify new opportunities to integrate these considerations into the work we do every day, helping customers, clients, colleagues and society to rise.

“We use our partnerships with community organisations such as the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, to address critical skills development and employability opportunities.”

Melanie Magee, business development director for Newcastle Falcons, said: “We’re very thankful for the help from Barclays for the second year running.

“Barclays have been long-standing supporters of the Foundation, and by pledging their support to the Foundation Flutter yet again, it will allow us to continue to motivate, educate and inspire via the power of sport.”
