Beach touch rugby festival
Over the course of the summer the Newcastle Rugby Foundation have been running an eight-week summer of touch league, which was rounded off with the beach festival.
It was an enjoyable day out for both players and spectators, with some spectacular beach touch rugby.
The day was proudly supported by [**The Inn Collection Group**][1], who offer fabulous inns across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and North Wales.
Andrew Robson, senior communications and marketing executive at the Inn Collection Group, said: “It’s such a great event and is what the foundation is about.
“It gets people with rugby balls in their hands, running around and playing. It’s an ideal setting with golden sands, sun and plenty of people out. This is a great finale, down on the North East coast to get out and enjoy yourself.”
