The 22-year-old was one of the breakthrough players of the Falcons’ unbeaten 2019-20 campaign, scoring seven tries in his 18 appearances.
“I love playing for the Falcons, my game is really developing under the coaches here and I’m looking forward to these next three seasons,” said the Cumbrian, who scored on his Gallagher Premiership debut at Gloucester back in May 2019.
He and his Falcons team-mates will return to the Premiership stage when the 2020-21 season gets underway on the weekend of November 20-22, director of rugby Dean Richards saying: “It’s an exciting time for the club.
“We have a lot of good homegrown players in our squad, of which Jamie is one, and it’s great to have that core of local boys.
“He’s very dangerous with ball in hand, he has a real desire to improve every aspect of his play and he continues to drive a healthy competition for places within our squad.”
