‘Bonus Pint’ chosen as Falcons’ new official beer
Supporters were asked to sample four Greene King ales to select their favourite at a recent well-attended showcase evening, and to suggest a name for the successful brew.
The most popular Greene King tipple by some considerable distance on the night was Beer A, which will become available next season in the Kingston Park Stadium bars.
Everyone who voted for Beer A was put into a draw to win three cases of Greene King ales, with Dave Tarn picked out as the lucky recipient.
The same prize was also on offer for the supporter who selected the eventual name of the club’s new official beer, Kevin Nergaard drawn out from those choosing ‘Bonus Pint’.
Other choices from supporters included Dodgy Flanker, Beer of Prey, Odd-shaped Balls, Kingston Rocket and Beery McBeer Face.
