Book now for Barnard Castle residential camp
Aimed at boys aged 12 to 17 the five-day residential camp includes three meals a day plus supper, accommodation, Newcastle Falcons clothing, five hours of coaching per day and guest coaching from Newcastle Falcons players and Falcons academy coaches.
Hosted at Barnard Castle School in County Durham for the 11th year in succession, the camp sees coaching delivered by Falcons Community Foundation coaches and is a great opportunity for experienced rugby players to hone their skills.
The week focuses on CARDS skills, ie creativity, awareness, resilience, decision-making and self-organisation.
Along with the CARDS skills, training will include position-specific coaching, game management, strength and conditioning and other aspects of the professional rugby player.
The camp culminates in Friday’s games day, with teams put together across the age groups and a chance to show off your skills to parents.
Last year saw our biggest ever turn-out and, with the camp priced at just £305 for the week, places are expected to be in strong demand.
