Bordeaux-Begles name 29-man squad for Falcons trip
The 26-year-old is an international team-mate of Newcastle Falcons wing Vereniki Goneva, and has been registered by Bordeaux this week in place of the injured Simon Hickey.
Other players travelling in Bordeaux’s 29-man group include former Bath back-rower Leroy Houston, ex-Sale prop Vadim Cobilas and France prop Sébastien Taofifenua.
Bordeaux-Begles will be out to avenge the 21-20 home defeat they suffered at Stade Chaban Delmas when the Falcons travelled there in round two of the competition, with former England back-row Joe Worsley among their coaching party.
