Newcastle Falcons legend Matt Burke delivered one final coaching event on behalf of the Falcons Community Foundation on Wednesday evening, as the Australian prepared to head back down under.

Burke, who was among a host of Legends to return to Kingston Park last Friday, for a charity exhibition match, spent almost two hours at Newcastle’s Rugby World Cup Fanzone, delivering a session to coaches and young player at the venue’s community pitch.

Passing on tips garnered from 81 appearances for the Wallabies and over 200 club level matches to members of the Northern RFC Under 14s set up, the session saw Burke return to the duties he regularly committed to in his time playing in the North East.

Before completing his time in the UK, Burke spoke with Falcons TV to give his thoughts on Legends, World Cup and the training session.
