Carreras named in RPA Team of the Season
The star-studded RPA Awards 2023, supported by Eterlast took place on Wednesday, May 17 at Evolution London and is one of the most prestigious events in the rugby calendar.
At the event Carreras was named in the RPA’s 15 under 23 Team of the Season on the wing, after a breakthrough season, which also saw him nominated for both Eterlast players’ player and young player of the year.
This is another award added to the extensive list already picked up by the Argentine international, who recently was crowned Premiership Rugby Try of the Season winner alongside being named in the BT Sport Dream Team for 2023.
Carreras was runner up in the league’s try-scoring charts, with 13 to his name.
The hot-stepper was also named Player of Round 15 following his hat-trick against Leicester Tigers in an emphatic 45-26 victory over the champions, as well as claiming multiple try of the month awards.
The winger also enjoyed a clean sweep at the club’s end-of-season awards, taking home prizes for players’ player, coaches’ player and fans’ try of the season.
