£418.50 was raised through ticket sales, while a further £506.68 was raised by a bucket collection throughout the ground during the game. Earlier this year Novos also held a dinner at Kingston Park with £5,750 going towards their appeal.
The funds will go towards the development of new pitches and facilities at the Newcastle-based club, who have supported the Falcons Community Foundation by taking part in a series of matchday festivals and games. Youngsters from the under-6s, 7s and 8s were lucky enough to be ‘dream team’ mascots and guard of honours before the Worcester match.
“Congratulations to Novos – it is an amazing total and I hope it helps significantly towards the appeal,” said community director Melanie Magee.
Charity cashback is still available for the Saracens and Exeter Chiefs games should clubs or charities wish to take part.
