Chicky heads back to Ponteland RFC
Ahead of Sunday’s Aviva Premiership Rugby match against Northampton, the Falcons Community Foundation will host 2017’s Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup.
A nationwide playing opportunity for players at U11 and U12 ages, it provides positive playing experiences all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
It is designed appropriately to a player’s age and stage of development and will give young players the chance to meet professional players from their Premiership Rugby Club.
First delivered in 2008, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has been running for eight seasons and has engaged nearly 68,000 young. All of the teams attending have the opportunity to win a prize of a visit Twickenham for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on 27 May 2017.
A graduate of the Newcastle Falcons Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup; Callum Chick, has gone on to make his Aviva Premiership Rugby and ahead of Sunday’s event, returned to Ponteland RFC to see how preparations have been going.
