Community Foundation announce February camp details
Aspiring sports stars of the future will again have the chance to use the upcoming half term holidays to develop their skills and fitness through the Falcons Community Foundation’s February Camps.
The Foundation’s team of DBS cleared coaches will be delivering five, two day camps at Carlisle RFC, Kingston Park, Guisborough RFC, Berwick RFC and Whitley Bay Rockcliffe over the course of the February half term week.
Running from 10am-3pm on both days, the camps offer participants a range of rugby skills, drills and activities, with some of these sessions seeing the attendees split by age group breakdown.
In addition to the training sessions, the camps, which are open to children of all abilities from ages 6-16 will feature a number of rugby related games, reinforcing the fun element of sport. While visits from member of the Falcons playing squad and coaches will also serve to inspire the budding rugby players of the future.
While the format and quality of coaching is replicated across all five camps, those booking onto the Kingston Park sessions will, subject to availability, be able to enjoy the chance to train on the main pitch at the stadium.
Every participant will also receive a free ticket to the Falcons v Wasps Aviva Premiership match on February 20th and will also be given the opportunity to form part of the guard of honour that lines their field prior to kick off at this match.
