Derek Balfour funeral arrangements
Balfour was heavily involved with Gosforth and Newcastle Gosforth, in particular around the mid-1990s when the club moved to Kingston Park Stadium and embraced rugby’s decision to turn professional.
He died peacefully in Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary on Thursday June 29. His funeral will be at Newcastle’s West Road Crematorium at 12:45 on Thursday July 7. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
