Doddie to benefit from sporting legends auction items
The trust aims to raise funds for Doddie and his family as he battles the currently-incurable condition, as well as raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease.
The Falcons’ Kingston Park Stadium was the venue for last week’s sold-out dinner in aid of Doddie Weir’5 Discretionary Trust, and you can still bid on the following great items.
* A signed and framed photo of England cricket legend Ian Botham.
* An England rugby shirt signed by current players Owen Farrell, Jamie George, Maro Itoje and Billy Vunipola, complete with a certificate of authenticity.
* A signed Andy Murray tennis shirt.
