Dominic Waldouck joins full-time playing squad
The 28-year-old former England Saxons centre already has more than a century of Aviva Premiership appearances under his belt after previous spells with Wasps, Northampton Saints and London Irish.
Waldouck spent most of the summer playing for American side Ohio Aviators in the USA’s inaugural Pro Rugby competition, reaching the final before joining Newcastle in August on an initial month’s trial.
Director of rugby Dean Richards has been impressed by the contribution of the experienced midfield man, saying: “Dom has shown up well and we are delighted to have been able to bring him on board full-time.
“He is a quality player, he knows this league very well and we look forward to working with him on a permanent basis.”
