Early arrival encouraged for Friday

Newcastle Falcons supporters are being urged to arrive in plenty of time for Friday night’s Aviva Premiership match against Wasps (kick-off 19:45) as fans continue to flock to this year’s festive fixture.

Approaching 7,000 tickets have been snapped up for the match and, with demand increasing in the countdown to kick-off, over 200 ticket packets are already awaiting collection from the Kingston Park Stadium box office.

With that number only set to grow, the club is advising supporters where possible to book tickets for the game online and make use of the Ticketfast print at home option, in order to avoid match-day collection queues.

For supporters who have already purchased tickets via the ticket hotline or have opted for collection, these have been made ready now, offering purchasers in the surrounding areas the chance to collect early.

Ticket office manager Hannah Sutheran said: “We’re thrilled that so many supporters are coming along to Friday’s game and we want them to have the best possible experience while at the stadium.

“While we will be fully staffed to ensure supporters can collect tickets as quickly as possible, we do expect the sheer number of collections to have an impact on our speed of service.

“We are open until 17:00 on Thursday and from 09:00 on match-day and any supporters who wish to collect tickets early are very welcome.”
