England’s best B&B signs up with Newcastle Falcons for 2014-15
Newcastle Falcons are pleased to report that award-winning Northumberland bed and breakfast St Cuthbert’s House have become the latest business to join Newcastle Falcons as a player sponsor for the season ahead.
Having recently won the Gold Award for Guest Accommodation at the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2014, the luxury bed and breakfast offers 5-star accommodation in the coastal town of Seahouses, Northumberland.
Signing up to sponsor England Under-20s and Falcons Senior Academy wing Zach Kibirige, St Cuthbert’s House now joins a host of other high profile North East brands in working with the club and will enjoy a number of exclusive benefits throughout the 2014-15 season as a result.
Owner Jeff Sutheran said: “It’s such a thrill for us to be able to sponsor Zach, and to forge a partnership with Newcastle Falcons. It’s great to be contributing in such a positive way to something we’re all passionate about, and at the same time raising the profile of our business.
“We’re sure Zach will mature into a key part of both the Falcons and England setup and we’re proud to be playing a very small part in encouraging his development.”
Owned and run by Jeff and his wife Jill, St Cuthbert’s House is a stunningly refurbished former church which boasts six ensuite bedrooms alongside many of the building’s original features and a number of newly created luxurious touches.
Since moving to the area and purchasing St Cuthbert’s House 16 years ago the Sutherans and their four adult children, two of whom continue to play rugby to a good standard, have been passionate supporters of rugby in the region, and of the Falcons particularly. This season’s agreement marks the first time they have signed up as sponsors of the club.
