This Sunday Newcastle Thunder play Rochdale Hornets in a huge Kingstone Press League One second place clash.
With both teams currently sat level on points having won all but four of their games the match, due to be played at Kingston Park Stadium on Sunday 5th July, could be a decider in terms of the final league standings and both team’s push for the promotion play-offs.

Although Sunday’s Thunder game kicks off at 3pm, the day does offer a double bill of rugby league as the English College Lionhearts, rugby league’s national college side, take on their Scottish counterparts live at Kingston Park Stadium from 12.30pm.
