FAIRSTONE SPONSORSHIP DEAL GOING FROM STRENGTH-TO-STRENGTH
The Aviva Premiership club joined forces with the national financial services firm on a four-year deal with an option after two seasons back in August. And with BT Sports’ live coverage of the Premiership coupled with the ITV highlights show and Sky Sports’ attention to the Amlin Challenge Cup, the Fairstone brand is gaining exposure both within the UK and internationally.
“For some time now we have enjoyed a very strong partnership with Fairstone,” said commercial director Duncan Edward.
“Their sponsorship of the club, which is now in its fifth month has enhanced the Fairstone name within both rugby and business circles regionally and nationally.
“Such a high profile sponsorship deal truly reflects our intention to ally ourselves with local partners who share in the Falcons’ passion for developing and growing our region. We look forward to both our organisations sharing in continued success both on and off the field,” he added.
Chief executive of Fairstone Lee Hartley said: “Over the last seven years we have focussed on growing our business organically and through acquisitions, creating a national team of qualified advisers and investing heavily into customer-facing technology.
“Now we want to raise the profile of our business and we believe that sponsorship of Newcastle Falcons with all of the engagement benefits and TV exposure that this brings, is a great move towards this objective.”
