Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the UK with nearly 35,000 cases are diagnosed each year.

The cancer causes up to 10,000 deaths each year, with men over 50 being the most prominent sufferers.

Players from the Newcastle Falcons squad have joined up with long-standing club partner Nuffield Health, to help raise awareness of key symptoms that may indicate complications with your prostate.

In a short video, which can be viewed **[HERE][1]**, the Falcons players highlight the following symptoms:

– Feeling like you need to get to the toilet quickly.

– Feeling like you need to wait for the flow to start.

– Urinating more slowly.

– Urinating more frequently.

– Urine continues to trickle after you have stopped.

– Feeling as if you haven’t emptied your bladder.

If you feel as though you suffer with any of these, please contact your local GP to seek advice.
