FALCONS ANNOUNCE 2014-15 SEASON TICKETS
The initiative will allow every full paying adult or concession season ticket holder to claim up to two free under-11 season tickets.
Furthermore, the club have revealed that all adult and concession season ticket holders from this season, who renew by the early bird deadline of 28 April will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2015 Rugby World Cup as part of England 2015’s priority access for Rugby Club Members.
Tickets for all 48 Rugby World Cup games including the final will be available to purchase in May 2014 via a club ballot. Full details on the application and ballot process will be sent out after 28 April.
All full season ticket prices have been frozen for 2014-15 together with a number of the early bird prices. Some early bird prices have increased after last year’s levels reflected the transition from Championship rugby.
The Falcons have announced a number of re-signings and the signings of Argentinean Juan Pablo Socino and scrum-half Ruki Tipuna from Rotherham Titans and Bristol Rugby respectively as the club looks to continue building the squad for 2014-15. More signings and re-signings will also be announced over the coming days and weeks.
A season ticket for the 2014-15 season will provide access to a minimum of 16 matches, including 11 league fixtures. In addition it will also include two tickets to the recently announced Premiership Rugby 7s Series held at Kingston Park on 2 August and at least one pre-season friendly.
Matches will be played predominantly on Sunday’s with a small number of Friday night fixtures. All matches are subject to change due to TV or competition requirements.
The club will also continue to offer a number of additional benefits to season ticket holders including the exclusive Season Ticket Holder Bar, a pre-season event with the players and flexible monthly payments for those supporters wishing to spread the cost.
Next season will also see the return of the popular ticket exchange scheme which allows season ticket holders to swap their tickets for any matches they cannot attend for an additional ticket at the subsequent game of their choice (terms and conditions apply).
Club chairman Semore Kurdi said: “Newcastle Falcons want to show that we are a family club and we believe we are demonstrating this with the introduction of free season tickets for under-11s.
“We have identified that a key component of increasing our attendances, is to build an established core of season ticket holders. We believe that by freezing our full season ticket prices, providing access to Rugby World Cup tickets and introducing free tickets for under 11’s, we have excellent chance of building this key supporter group.
“It’s been a challenging first season back in the Aviva Premiership but as the toughest league in the world we expected nothing different. We want this club to continue to build on and off the field for the next few years and having a big group of committed season ticket holders will be key factor in that growth.
“I’d like to thank all our fans for their continued support and hope they can be part of the club’s journey in 2014-15.”
Season ticket holders will receive correspondence within the next week with full details on renewals. They can also be purchased **[**online**][1]** from Wednesday 2 April, from the Falcons’ 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 2266060 or in person from the Kingston Park Club Shop.
