FALCONS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO TAKE ON APPRENTICE
The apprentice will be working alongside our community coaches delivering to local schools in a coaching focussed role. The job description is detailed below.
**Vacancy Description**
We are a registered charity no 1107851 and our aim is to motivate, educate and inspire via the power of sport. We work across 5 pillars of activity; Club Development, Grassroots Sports, Health, Social Inclusion and education. In addition to satisfying the Corporate Social Responsibility objectives of Newcastle Rugby Limited, the Charity also aims to attract a new audience to the sport of rugby union. We are seeking a Sports Apprentice to engage with the rugby community , providing both grassroots coaching and support with the Community Foundation. The candidate must be passionate about working with children and developing schools physical activity, developing themselves individually, and furthering their career.
Main duties include:
Deliver grassroots coaching programmes and festivals to primary schools, secondary schools and other groups.
Organise, promote and deliver coaching camps and clinics during school holidays for young players .
Promote Newcastle Falcons, ensuring the rugby community are kept up to date with activities and progress within the club
Work in conjunction with the Foundation Team to deliver a wide range of high quality activities to a wide range of people, meeting multiple objectives
Support the planning, delivery & evaluation of Sports, P.E. and Physical Activity to classes of children
Duties will include supporting:
* Coaching.
* Promoting our visions and values
* Liaising with coaches
