Newcastle Falcons Todd Clever and Eric Fry completed their involvements in the Americas Rugby Championship in fine style last weekend, as the USA swept aside Chile in Florida.

In their final home match of the competition, the Eagles completed a 64-0 victory over the South American side, which sees them top the table ahead of Argentina XV heading into the final two games, away to Brazil and Uruguay.

Clever and Fry once again started for the USA, with the flanker retaining the captains arm band from the match against Canada.

With John Mitchell opting to field a young team, the Falcons pair brought valuable experience to the squad that ran in ten tries on the evening.

Having played a full part in two wins and a draw, the pair will now return to the North East and duties for the Falcons.
