Newcastle Falcons’ prop Eduardo Bello and back-five forward Pedro Rubiolo both started for Argentina in their 59-5 victory over Chile at the Rugby World Cup.

Rubiolo played the full 80 minutes with Bello being replaced early in the second half as Argentina push for quarter-final qualification.

Falcons’ duo of Mateo Carreras and Matias Moroni are also in the Argentina squad for the World Cup but did not feature in this fixture.

Argentina’s next game is against Japan on Sunday, October 8 and will be shown live on the West Stand concourse at Kingston Park, ahead of the club’s Premiership Rugby Cup tie against Caldy RFC.
