Falcons duo start for England U20s
The Falcons pair have both started in England’s last two games – a 29-20 victory against France U20s on June 29 and a narrow 37-36 defeat to Ireland U20s last Tuesday.
Stephens has started every game of the Six Nations U20 Summer Series for England, scoring one try – an impressive effort against Ireland U20s last time out.
Tuesday’s game takes place at the Stadio Monigo, Treviso, kicking off at 5pm UK time.
England men’s U20s head coach, Alan Dickens, speaking ahead of the play off said: “Although we were disappointed to concede four tries in the first half against Ireland, I thought we did well to score six of our own and get the bonus point.
“Italy had a really good pool stage and we know they will give us a strong test, but we’ll be looking to finish the Summer Series on a real high”
