FALCONS FANATIC ALEX SNAPS UP FREE SEASON TICKET

Thursday 24 April 2014 Written by: Adam

Nine-year-old Alex King, who plays for Blyth Rugby Club, has taken advantage of the initiative which allows every full paying adult or concession season ticket holder to claim up to two free under-11 season tickets. The offer has also recently been extended to include registered junior players under the age of 15.

A pupil at Beacon Hill School, Alex decided to join Blyth Rugby Club and made up part of the guard of honour at Kingston Park during his first Falcons match in 2012.

He has since continued to attend Falcons games and, along with his mother Laura, will be a season ticket holder for the first time during the 2014-15 season.

Laura said: “Alex has steadily grown into a Falcons obsessed boy and the free under-11 season ticket for 2014-15, made me book our spots as soon as the tickets were released. His first experience of the club was two years ago when he was part of the guard of honour and his interest and involvement in the sport has grown since then.”

Alex has never looked back, and since his first experience at Kingston Park he has attended matches on a regular basis.

“I was unsure what to expect when we came to our first match, but there is such a good, safe and friendly atmosphere in the stadium – it’s like your part of the team never mind the crowd.

“I actually wish I had got my season tickets a season sooner. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up his first answer is always a rugby player and that he wants to play for the Falcons, which is down to the experience we have at the games and the way the club and players interact with these young supporters.”

Season Tickets be purchased **[online][1]**, from the Falcons’ 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 2266060 or in person from the Kingston Park Club Shop.
