The Falcons Community Foundation and TyneMet College’s rugby union programme is welcoming new applicants for 2018/19, following a successful first year since launching last autumn.

Based at Kingston Park Stadium for students aged 16-18, the programme combines rugby coaching sessions, a strength and conditioning programme and competing in the National College League with a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Sports Studies, it is a great opportunity for club players to further their development. Players are encouraged to maintain playing at club level during this programme.

Students will also have the opportunity to achieve coaching and refereeing qualifications alongside volunteering with the Falcons Community Foundation amongst other fantastic benefits!

The programme aims to give students a route into University or apprenticeships whilst also focusing on player and club development for the North East and Cumbria.
