Falcons Foundation launch Summer Coaching Camps
With the summer holidays only a couple of weeks away, the Falcons Community Foundation are pleased to confirm the details of this year’s summer coaching camps.
Offering a wide variety of camps based around a rugby theme, the Foundation’s team of expert coaches will be keeping kids active and entertained during the school holidays.
Things get under way on 20th July at Kingston Park, when children in the U7s-U12s age range will be put through their paces with a series of games and activities.
The following week it is the turn of those aged U13-U16, again at Kingston Park, before the annual Residential camp takes place at Barnard Castle School for U13s-U17s takes in the first week of August.
With clubs pre seasons drawing closer, the Foundation will be running a two day backs camp on the 17 and 18 August, a forwards camp on the 20 and 21 August as well as a specialist kicking camp on August 19th.
Rounding off the summer programme, a special pre season three day course runs from August 26 – 28, aiming to get aspiring players ready for the season to come.
In addition to the range of activities taking place in the North East, kids in Cumbria can take place in camps closer to home with special two day courses taking place at Cockermouth and Penrith rugby clubs.
These take place over July 27 and 28 at Penrith and August 24 and 25 at Cockermouth.
