Falcons in hunt of U20s glory

Callum Chick starts and Brett Connon lines up on the bench as England and Ireland U20s attempt to qualify for the final of the 2016 World Rugby U20s Championships in Manchester on Monday afternoon.

Connon’s Ireland take on Argentina at 17:30 while Chick’s England face South Africa at 19:45 with both fixtures taking place at the Manchester City Academy Stadium.

England came into the final four unbeaten in pool B, with 48-10 win in the opening round against Italy, before taking a 44-0 victory against Scotland and a 17-13 win over Australia, while Ireland also have a perfect three from three record.

Their results included a one point win over Wales in the opening fixture and a memorable 24-33 triumph over New Zealand.

The match against the Argentines guarantees a first time finalist, with neither side advancing beyond the semi final stage in the competition to date.

Both matches will be screened live on Sky Sports 3
