FALCONS LAUNCH NEW BUS SERVICE
Working together to bring four new match day bus services for fans living outside the city, it will provide direct stadium transport.
Launching with the final home game of the season against Exeter on Saturday May 10, the new services are designed to provide enhanced transport options direct to the stadium with routes covering Durham, Hexham, Morpeth and Whitley Bay.
The new services are aimed at those fans who live in areas with limited to no public transport, or those who have to make multiple changes and connections to make it to the ground.
Andrew Robson, ticketing coordinator, said: “We are looking to grow attendances at Kingston Park. We are hoping that by working with Go North East to provide an enhanced public transport service, it will encourage more people to come and enjoy match days at Kingston Park.
“We hope that by providing a direct to stadium service, fans will be able to enjoy the full match day experience, without having to worry about the journey to and from the game.”
Go NorthEast’s Mark Ellis said: “We’re pleased to be working in conjunction with the Falcons to provide this new service and we hope it will help them attract a bumper crowd for the final home game of the season.”
